Well Joe, that doesnt make much sense to me. The Word says that the many shall come in my name and be decieved. How can i discern who the decieved are?
1 John 2 [18] Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. [19] They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. [20] But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. [21] I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
2 Cor. 11 [13] For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. [14] And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. [15] Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
There are many more of this type of warnings in the new testament.
I figure the best thing to do is to continue to let the scriptures interpret the scriptures. Theres an old testament scripture that says if you follow a decieved prophet, you will recieve that prophets reward. Im not going to do that. I will live or die by the written Word.
