Marie,

I am not surprised that a new Presbyterian denomination has been established. The current situation within what are considered conservative Presbyterian churches is lamentable. It was only a matter of time before men who are committed to the "faith once delivered unto the saints" took the radical step in separating themselves from their respective denominations who have allowed heretical teachings to be held and taught by its ministers.

From what material they have online, it would appear that their motives are pure, the foundation is solid and their expectation promising. It will be my fervent prayer that they will be blessed of God and many will join with them with the singular intent to return to the "old paths". And so, I find myself both saddened by what has precipitated this action taken and rejoicing that there are men who are willing to stand firm against what will surely be the eventual demise of what were a light to the world. I wonder if J. Gresham Machen ever thought such a thing would happen to the Orthodox Presbyterian Church?

Thanks for posting this information.

In His Grace,
