John Colquhoun (1748-1827) wrote many wonderful articles and sermons throughout his lifetime. This is one which I think is particularly worthy of our attention. In this article Colquhoun exalts the Gospel but would have us understand how both the Gospel and the law, albeit in a subservient role, are of great importance and are not to be seen as being in conflict. He further shows how the Gospel and the law are of great use to both sinners and saints when used rightly.
