In this month's Article of the Month, James T. Dennison, Jr. expounds upon the Exodus of Israel from Egypt in light of its prophetic elements of redemptive history. Too often we fail to see the full significance of Old Testament history and consequently many relegate the Old Testament to an inferior and even unnecessary part of God's inspired Word. However, this should not be as the Old Testament record is the foundation of all that follows in the New Testament. Without a proper understanding of the Old, there can be no right interpretation and/or application of the New.
