The "Great Change" referred to in this article by A.W. Pink is the Holy Spirit's initial work of regeneration and its resulting work of conversion, the marks of which should be the concern of every individual who names the name of Christ. It is wisely brought out that regeneration effects the whole man although not necessarily equally. Likewise, the experience of individuals varies greatly although the results are the same, i.e., a new nature and disposition is created and the whole man is effected. Pink does well to address those who are labouring with a morbid introspection and/or looking within themselves for some specific experience in order to come to a measure of assurance. On the other side, he challenges those who perhaps have deceived themselves with a false assurance, not having in themselves any of the marks of grace of which the Scriptures speak. Read this article now here: The Great ChangeFor later reading, you can find this article in Calvinism and the Reformed Faith and in the "Anthropology" section. In His service and grace,
simul iustus et peccator
