Marie and Pilgrim,
Thanks.
Pilgrim: I agree 100% with everything you wrote. In the few weeks since returning to the U.S., I have been traveling and visiting various churches. The two PCA churches we visited had either contemporary worship or two services with one contemporary and one traditional. I found this disappointing. I know not all PCA churches are going this route. We visited one OPC church that was wonderful. Of course one visit is not enough to know if those churches were flirting with Federal Vision or NPP.
Marie: If I do take the job (and odds are above 50% at the moment), we will look into Tates Creek. Do you know of any other reformed churches in the area? We would also consider towns nearby Lexington with good churches and not just in Lexington itself.
