Yes, I've used this particular biblical argument before. Perhaps here but many times elsewhere over the years. I can't say what responses I received since I can't remember. But regardless of the responses, it's a solid and biblical reason to accept and believe that the creation account in Genesis 1 and 2 teaches that God created all that we read there in the span of 6 24-hour days. I have to believe that's how Moses' hearers understood it to be; how the overwhelming majority of people who read the Bible understand it to be; how the vast majority of scholars understand it to be. It may sound rather nebulous, but when I personally read the account, the "spirit of the text" just screams out that the days are 24-hour days, the days I experience in my life from morning to evening.
