Remember Who it is who holds you,
Numbered all your days,
Who knows you, your ways ordained
And written in His book;
This One, Who, by love constrained,
Forsook His place of glory, took
The flesh and bones to live,
Fulfill all righteousness, for you.

Remember Him, enduring shame,
Rejection, scorn, your blame,
The cup of wrath for you,
That so, He would forgive, and give
To you, eternal life.

Oh, remember Him now, as you
Are made to see what you
Are powerless to change, to know,
That your own sin is written
In the scene before you, that you
Would do anything you could
To erase it, oh this, for you, remember this,
As you remember Him:

He wrote it in,
And He has you know
He has erased what He wrote in,
And what you see, and what will be,
Are not the same, for the blame
He took, for you.
Remember Him.

“For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.” Hebrews 12:3
