What is the necessity of having specialized 'task-oriented and relational people' in leadership positions? Seems to me that those already ordained for the purpose of caring for the Church, i.e., the Elders and Deacons, should be the ones taking care of greeting visitors, etc. They allegedly have the necessary gifts to do all such things. Who better to answer questions which invariably people ask, direct people to places, etc., etc.? scratchchin
