I didn't get to listen to all the youtube video, but it appears to me that it is easy to debunk the Roman Catholic economic doctrine just by looking at the new world countries influenced by the Catholics, and those influenced by the Protestants. What would Pope Francis say in answering those types of questions.

On another front, I see more writings from Reformed perspectives in regards to justice issues in that there may be a movement pushing that agenda. There is no doubt the church does many things wrong, but to discount everything done in the last three-fourths century is just throwing out too much. I kinda see it as people feeling more productive in changing physical and emotional needs. Changing spiritual needs is more abstract and lots harder.
