I am having difficulty in fleshing out the Last (or Final) Judgement. We've been studying the WCF in SS, and the last chapter in the Confession speaks of the judgement that we will all received. What I find confusing is that in the previous chapter it speaks of our souls going to heaven (for the righteous) and hell (for the wicked). Wouldn't that be the judgement. In Hebrews 9:27, it speaks that all men will die once and after that comes judgement. I read that as meaning our physical death, not the time of the 2nd Coming. And, I'm sure where our souls final state ends up will be the same place that our resurrected bodies. In other words, the last judgement will not conflict with the previous judgement upon our death.
What am I missing here?
