I believe that Lot was delivered from Sodom and perdition.

1. In the account of the destruction of Sodom (Gen 19:15-26), the "men/angels" of the Lord brought him and his family out and Lot confesses that God had betsowed upon him "favor" and shown him "lovingkindness". And, Lot pressed on out of the city to a place of refuge not looking back (display of where his heart was), whereas his wife did look back and perished despite her having been physicallly delivered.

2. Peter, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit calls Lot "just/righteous" and describes Lot's disgust over the sinfulness of the people of that place.

2 Peter 2:7 (ASV) "and delivered righteous Lot, sore distressed by the lascivious life of the wicked."
