Sorry, I haven't a clue what you are asking about. "Imploding tree"??? Got a screenshot you can insert in a reply? And this "left-most column", in what page are you referring to? e.g., the Main Index page where all the forums are displayed? A Forum page that displays all the threads? Within a thread (Threaded or Flat mode)?

From the main page, I clicked on a particular forum. It displays all the threads. The header has a blank in the 1st column. A 'Subject' in the 2nd column . . . The 1st column with the blank header has the imploding tree beside the Userpics thread the next one down, but not on this one
