Has the time indicator for the posts been changed? I just posted after 9 EST, and it says I'd posted at 3. I don't remember it being that much of a difference in the past.

Mine did the same, but I adjusted the setting. Seems to me this has happened before.

Something else odd...the posts I made today tell the correct time while the posts I made on previous days have a time that is completely off!

Well, the only thing I can tell you is that this has happened once before and after a day or so, everything returned to normal. I suspect with the glut of viruses and worms going around, servers everywhere are being taxed to the limit. Thus there is bound to be "hiccups" that occur. This, I'm guessing, is one of them.
