As some of you more astute individuals already know from reading a message I posted in the "What's Happening on this Discussion Board" Forum, the free version of the "SpellChecker.net" has been abandoned by the company that owns it. And, I recommended an alternative spell checker that you could download from this site here: Spellchecker for Edit Boxes

I still highly recommend this free spell checker over any that I have seen thus far, however, I just found and personally tested another one that seems to work just fine. This one requires that you have MS Word installed on your computer and IE 5 or better and Windows Scripting Host 5.1 or better. (most Win 98, NT, etc. users have this by default).

Installation is a "no brainer"... and to uninstall if should you decide not to keep it is done through your Control Panel/Add and Remove Programs.. Instructions are included. To use it, simply highlight the text you want to spell check and right click with your mouse. You will then see the new "Spelling" item in the menu. Clicking that will then open the Spell Checker from MS Word. Once done, you will be prompted to key in "Ctrl V" (paste) and that's it.... [Linked Image]
