Oh, and there was a magazine called "Technologies for Worship." It had a bunch of ads for stereo speakers, screens, microphones, amplifiers, etc.
The CCM magazine wasn't much better. One band called "Superchic[k]" looked like the women had anorexia or something. And the interview was on everything but their faith!
And there was an interview with Chris Rice, in which he said he believed Heaven would be like earth, in that we work, "have relationships," and "build things." Where is that in the Scriptures? Yes, I believe we will know one another for "we will know as we are known," but I don't think that we can say, as Chris Rice does, that "Heaven will be a lot more earthy than most Christians think."
True godliness is a sincere feeling which loves God as Father as much as it fears and reverences Him as Lord, embraces His righteousness, and dreads offending Him worse than death~ Calvin
Someone once said that we are to be the "unshockable people" because we know the true condition of mankind and where mankind is going.
