Reading the post on this board, makes me ask this question, what is the will of GOD for my life?

How do I know what GODs will is, where are the answers to my questions concerning my church, and family, or any day to day problems, that arise.

I pray,and I still don't have the answer.
What if, pops in my head, what if thats right, or is it. What if I act to soon, what if its just me doing this solving my own problem and I did not wait on GOD like I was suppose to.

How long do I wait? what if the answer is there in front of my face an I can't see it. not all questions are answered in the bible, are they?

Do you have an experience to share to help me understand how we know GODs will for our lives.

Neicey,

Here are some principles to follow in being sensitive to the Holy Spirit's guidance.

1 - Know the Bible
2 - Through Prayer
3 - Practice Christian Principles
4 - Counsel of Mature Christians
5 - Through your Thinking
6 - Peace of Mind
7 - Circumstances (which should be the caboose in these principles)

The lesson in this is that knowing God's will, there is no magic formula. It involves living your life in a consistent, persistent and spiritual manner.

Dear Neicey,

John C. has given sound advice to you, I think; here is what another "John", John MacArthur, has to say on this topic:

May God bless,

Neicey,

Way back in 1997, the "Article of the Month" for October addressed your question concerning knowing the will of God for your life. The article was written by Dr. Sinclair Ferguson and I am sure you will find it most helpful.

Read it here: Discovering God's Will

In His Grace,
