There is no "time given"...... once you click on the "Ok, submit" button, it is immediately posted. . . or at least it should be.

What I have seen sometimes, is that some have clicked on the "Continue" button and thought this submitted their post/reply and then gone to another page. Unless the "I want to preview my post and/or attach a file" option is DISabled, clicking "Continue" takes you to the Preview page and then you must click on the "Ok, submit" button to post it.

Johnnie,

If you go to "My Home" in the top menu and click on the link to "Edit" "Display Preferences," there's an option there to offset your local time with referrence to the server.

Kyle

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified.

Ah.... okay... now I can help you with the "real" problem. It's just a matter of setting the "Adjusted Time" in your preferences.

The easiest way to do this is to go to the "Main Index" page and scroll down to the bottom. Look on the far left and click on the link or here: Current adjusted date is: . The base/Board default time is CST (Central Standard Time). Adjust the time to your location's time zone and you should be all set. In your preferences see this:

Current server time is: Today (07/17/05) at 01:56 pm
Choose your time offset in hours (..,-2,-1,0,1,2,..)

and pick the "offset" to match your actual time. It may take some trial and error, but I'm sure you will be able to figure it out rather quickly.
