I have an aquaintance that is looking to find a good Reformed Church (baptist or otherwise) in Sweden. Now I know that is asking a lot from what I have been told about Swedish churches but I thought I would post the question.

My wife's brother is a pastor in the Lutheran Church in Sweden. The Lutheran church is actually the National church of Sweden and it really resembles the Catholic church a lot. They tend to look at the other churches as radicals or protestants. Go figure

Do you know what town in Sweden your aquaintance will be moving to?

Nope they were reticent about where they were going to be living. The most I could get out of them was that Sweden was a God-less place where the church had gone liberal.

Well, it's rather hard to give them some options when you don't even know what part of the country they will be living in.

Yes, the church in Sweden (like most of Europe) is quite liberal but I'm sure there must be some exceptions.

I do know there is the Confessional Lutheran Church in Sweden that is quite conservative and doctrinally sound (in fellowship with the WELS and ELS in the United States). My ex attends this church.
Minimal info given here.... http://www.algonet.se/~luther/vadeng.htm

If you want I can find out more. Means I have to talk to her, though.....

Well I'll ask however, I'm fairly certain they would prefer Reformed or Baptist.
