Biblical doctrine is the foundation of evangelism as it is the foundation of Christian experience, Christian worship, Christian behavior, and Christian service.

There are three areas of biblical truth found in Luke 24:46-48, and what we believe about these three areas of truth will have a profound effect upon the message and the methods for evangelism.

The late Ernest Reisinger is the author of this new addition to The Highway who explores the doctrinal content of the Gospel message. There are three particular areas which Mr. Reisinger cultivates out of the Lukan text; two truths and the necessary response to them:

1) TRUTHS THAT HINGE ON THE DEATH OF CHRIST
2) TRUTHS THAT HINGE ON THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST
3) REPENTANCE AND REMISSION
