How does that work? I just accidently click on 'spell checking' and it brought up another window - spellcheck.net. It highlighted 'SBC' to change but I didn't want to change it so I just closed the window. Will it actually change the text of a post? Or, does it just tell you the spelling errors with corrections whereby the poster would still have to make in the text before submitting the post?

John,

The inhouse spell checker is as you guessed. It only highlights suspect words and you have to make the change. The absolute best spell checker for online message boards, text boxes, etc., is ieSpell, which has been mentioned many times in the "Software Forum" below. It's [Linked Image], simple to install and easy to use. I've been using it for years and would be lost without it. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/giggle.gif" alt="" />
