Well that would depend on whether or not Google gave me the right answer.
Am I allowed to give the answer it gave me?

Am I allowed to give the answer it gave me? Absolutely... don't you think that it would add to the discussion and help people to come to a better and more biblical understanding of the truth in such a discussion? I for one would be more than interested in knowing what "answer" you came up with on Google... along with the source, of course. THANKS

I don't consider it cheating to have looked AFTER I voted. I was just curious at that point. Okay, so what do you all think now? Well, as you know, when I learned where it came from, I thought I was going senile because I couldn't find anything unorthodox about it. (I did read 'free will' as free agency; it 'fit' with the way the rest of the statement read). What I found most interesting, though, was that though I had read the 5 Articles several times in the past, I had never noticed how orthodox Article 3 really is! The whole exercise really made me more aware of what I bring to what I read that affects the reading.
Trust the past to God's mercy, the present to God's love and the future to God's providence." - St. Augustine Hiraeth

I too just copied-and-pasted the entire quote into LxQuick (my search engine of choice) after I voted (so it's not cheating) and followed a link to the 5 Points of Arminianism. It surprised me how "orthodox" the statement seems considering the source. My first reply to this thread was my typical Asperger's nit-pickiness run amok, but in matters of orthodoxy, that nit-picking has served me well.
