God in his loving kindness towards his own ,while they were in sin, in light of his absolute holiness and in order to make reconciliation possible required a perfect sacrifice. Since none could answer he sent of himself, his only Son ,Jesus , as it were necessary that blood be shed, to endure the cross.
Jesus ,being the Lamb without spot or wrinkle, , having taken the curse due his people upon himself, was then raised up , and in the same manner has included all who believe in his gift of eternal life.

Or as in the KJV:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Fair enough?

Are you asking for a full evaluation of the paraphrase; grammatical and doctrinal accuracy which is assumed is a paraphrase of John 3:16?

Is this YOUR paraphrase? or someone else's?

Well not too full,(its for a post ,not a theological paper) obviously some bits of explanation are included that are not found in the verse, mostly Im concerned doctrinal accuracy.

Its mine. It is based on some threads here and some reading. I cant recall which thread but the thrust was that J 3;16 has long and often been misused as an evangelical call and camp ground for opposing Calvin.

Okay, you did ask! grin Instead of doing an evaluation, I am thinking that perhaps I should simply use your own words, as much as possible and rewrite it to my liking.

God, in His lovingkindness toward helpless sinners, while they were yet dead in sin, and He being inexorably holy, in order to reconcile them to Himself required a perfect sacrifice. Due to their totally depraved nature which is wholly inclined to all unrighteousness and unholiness, He sent His only begotten Son in the form of human flesh; Jesus Christ that by His perfect righteousness and through His sacrificial death He would secure their salvation.

Jesus, by His perfect obedience to the all the demands of the law of God, suffered the punishment and curse due them and then was raised the third day, demonstrating that His sacrifice was acceptable to God. Thus, having made atonement for them, all who believe upon Christ will not perish but have everlasting life.
