Yes, I have read it and to be honest, I wasn't all that shocked over these attempts to silence religion in the military. The US has been "anti-God" for many decades and anti-Christian in particular. Laws which permit the murder of the unborn, allow open expression of homosexuality, and all that is profane go hand-in-hand with laws that would remove "god" from the country. In fact, the correlation between Idolatry; the worshipping of any false deity other than the one true God, and such abominable acts committed by mankind is inseparable.

What has existed among most in the US, a feigned agnosticism which is actually Atheism, is now being actively promoted. Toleration of all other belief systems is fine. But it is unacceptable to hold to Christianity and especially to practice it openly. These are just the little beginning steps which will eventually lead to an all out prohibition against Christianity, broadly defined. I wonder if prayer in the House of Congress and the Senate will be targeted next?

Do I hear the faint echo of Marx's "Religion is the opium of the people" in this? Given the direction this country seems to be moving in, it would go hand in hand with a communist state.
