We are working through 1 Corinthians in Sunday school at church, and now going into the chapter 12 gifts discussion, so how many of those giftsstill valid and in use today in the local church?

We are working through 1 Corinthians in Sunday school at church, and now going into the chapter 12 gifts discussion, so how many of those giftsstill valid and in use today in the local church? Which do you think are still valid for the NT Church after the death of the Apostles?

The non Sign gifts, so there would still be in operation those such as helps, giving, leading, teaching, encouraging etc, just not miracles/tongues/healings, as do believe that the Lord can still heal and do miracles, but that is Him doing it in response to prayer sand His will, not someone gifted now to do them!

The question is not whether or not the Lord can still heal and do miracles; of course He can. That is not the issue, we are talking about sign gifts.

That is why I would not see any having assigned to them today from God the apostolic gifts to do healings/miracles...
