when one is bombarded with this stuff constantly.

I am well aware that garbage is readily available but it is up to the listener to not listen. To turn it off and seek a more reliable source of information. It may seem difficult to turn off the TV or radio but others have learned to do that. Ultimately, you are responsible for what you listen and give heed to.

Tom, maybe we care about Canada too and see that Trudeau, like his parents are some of the most decadent, foolish and inept leaders in north America. I do not merely look at their personal immorality but the fact that he has made laws forbidding any from taking a stand against immorality. You look to White for his "wisdom" regarding Trump's past (and by the way, I don't like White's prideful demeanor so that shuts me off to him right there) and yet you won't see how your own country fares.

I see not one substantial argument against the critique provided you regarding the White video. That certainly does nothing to help your own argument.

Tom, I understand your frustration..... Basically, the news is skewed to usher in a global-socialist agenda..... Most news will be skewed towards those ends...... The more division leading unto loss of speech, increased political correctness and the annhilation of Christian principles..... Open borders/eradication of nations, single payer insurance (including death panels), global currency and trade, etc.... and contrived wars and rigged elections that will usher in the realization of a new world order...... Nanny state & police state with mass surveillance and major privacy restrictions....simply a whole lot of repression....this is the secular humanist agenda and it's global.....follow the money trails.....Washington Post is owned and controlled by the CIA in collaboration with the president of Amazon..... These are sobering times in some ways.....but we are secure

Many Christian denominations and universities have been liberalized and secularized by the rockefellers and other like minded elites since the turn of last century (and ultimately every age).... They used scientism and socialism to change the cultural landscape..... But in the end, it's a heart issue..... There are different levels of human depravity.....especially when you throw money and power into the mix.... The depravities of mankind knows no bounds.... We shouldnt be suprised.....the penetrating power of the gospel is humanity's (individually and in a general sense) only hope..... Ultimately it's God's Plan .....outside of another Great Awakening I don't expect things to change for the better

I just returned from a vacation in Quebec City.

The main stream media dominates public opinion in Canada. President Trump is viewed very negatively by the masses.

We are living in the midst of a propaganda war—showing all the characteristics of fourth generation warfare.

The LORD rules and His will always prevails.

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

You are correct about the mainstream media dominating public opinion.
I actually have come to expect what I hear is the news. It is the fact that this is widely excepted by many Christians that I have more problem with. Another big problem is when one starts to look for videos of Trump talking himself, he can say the truth and sound like a prideful jerk. This is why he does not help his cause.
Perhaps it might be best if I just learned to smile and nod, when it comes to things like this.

I don't get too much into moralizing about Trump..... He is who he is..... That people, even Christians, get so hung up on his behavior proves that they simply fail to understand what's truly going down..... Trumps lack of social graces is the least of our problems..... We should pray for his conversion because with the exception of a few good senators and congressmen, he is the only one we can even remotely depend on to act on behalf of the people

I do not think adding things like this helps your arguments, they should stand on their own and usually do.
It reminds me of when I worked in a Elementary School, the Principal used to compliment my work on occasion, but then he would add something like "you are much better than the last guy who did your job." I happened to know the last guy and he is my supervisor; whom I like.
Kind of takes away from the compliment doesn't it?

By the way, why would I care about the USA? Simply because Canada and the USA are our closest neighbours and what happens in the USA effects Canada. No, I can't vote in the USA, but that does not mean I shouldn't care.

Tom, I have a Folder on my Bookmarks bar labeled "News" and in that folder I have collected online news sources by which I can counterbalance the predominant, mainstream news media. Some I use are:

https://www.newsbusters.org/
http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/
http://www.washingtontimes.com/
http://www.oann.com/
http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/
http://drudgereport.com/

Try using those sites and get familiar with them and you'll find that none are perfect all the time, but you'll have a way to compare news reports. If you scroll down the DrudgeReport you'll find many commentators and I'd recommend checking the following:

Byron York, Sean Hannity, Lou Dobbs, Ann Coulter, Pat Buchanan

This is one of the reasons I like Trump....

Trump angry at administration globalists; 'Bring me tariffs!
By Rick Moran
At a top level trade meeting at the White House earlier this month, Trump angrily accused some of his advisers of being globalists and demanded they formulate tariffs to impose on China.

The Hill:

During Gen. John Kelly's first week as White House Chief of Staff, the former Homeland Security secretary called a meeting to discuss the administration's plans to investigate China for stealing U.S. intellectual property and technology.

“For the last six months, this same group of geniuses comes in here all the time and I tell them, 'Tariffs. I want tariffs.' And what do they do? They bring me IP. I can't put a tariff on IP,” Trump reportedly told Kelly during the meeting.

“China is laughing at us. Laughing.”

Also attending the meeting – the account of which was confirmed to Axios by anonymous sources – were U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer, senior trade adviser Peter Navarro, top economic adviser Gary Cohn, staff secretary Rob Porter and Trump's former chief strategist Steve Bannon, who was ousted not long after.

“John, let me tell you why they didn't bring me any tariffs,” Trump said. “I know there are some people in the room right now that are upset. I know there are some globalists in the room right now. And they don't want them, John, they don't want the tariffs. But I'm telling you, I want tariffs.”

Kelly eventually ended the meeting, assuring Trump the group would work things out and reconvene later.

“The president has been very clear about his agenda as it relates to trade,” a White House official told Axios. “Discussions pertaining to specific tariffs and trade deals are ongoing and have already resulted in many positive developments."

Regardless of what these.....
