I noticed a discussion on this subject on another Calvinist board.
It had to do with whether or not Jesus ever stubbed his toe, or hurt Himself.
Many people on that board seemed to think that sinse Jesus was perfect, He never hurt Himself.
It seems to me however, they are missing the fact that Jesus was 100% human, just like anyone.
Therefore, unless I am mistaken touching His humanness, he probably hurt himself just like anyone.
He also being a carpenter, had to learn His craft, which was probably taught by Him by Hos earthly father and relatives.
They tried to make the case that Jesus was perfect in all aspects, so that would include not having to learn carpentry and never hurting Himself.
I know Jesus was flawless where sin is concerned; but would that include these aspects?
I personally have never even thought of these particular things before.

Being perfect means He never sinned. Stubbing your toe, getting a runny nose, hitting your thumb with a hammer, scraping your knee, etc. is not sin. What this subject entails is the separation of the two natures of Christ as is found by way of summary in the Chalcedon Creed.

Thank you, that is what I was thinking.

Do you know of any good articles that deal with this particular matter?
