Recently I was on a Christian forum concerning the issue of Trump being one of the most Pro-Life President’s ever. Most agreed with that and they included an article by Dr. Albert Mohler giving the reasons why he changed his mind about Donald Trump and voted for him this time around. Among other things Dr. Mohler stated he was pleasantly surprised about Donald Trump and voted for him because despite some things he may not like about him, Donald Trump actually delivered on what he said he would do; especially on the issue of abortion. Probably, the majority agreed with this. However, there were some who believe us naïve concerning Donald Trump. One gave the following as so called proof. I can't concede Mohlers point.Trumps administration is no more pro-life than Obamas when it comes to numbers. He claims to be the most pro-life President, but the fact is that his budget plan includes funding for Planned Parenthood, the Republican Controlled Congress voted to fund abortion through approving the federal budget the first two years of Trumps term, and all of Supreme Court picks have openly stated that they would uphold Roe v Wade as precedent. None said they would seek to overturn it.
Oh, and PP has received record levels of Public funding under Trump as well.
He has done nothing but protected and preserved the status quo when it comes to abortion.
Republicans gave us Roe v Wade, and even though they've dominated the Supreme Court for 49 out of the last 50 years, they've done nothing to overturn it. Nor will they. Nobody seems to have challenged this. Tom

1. Finding Trump "guilty" of what a RINO congress did or did not do is hardly a cogent nor fair charge. There were MANY things Trump wanted to accomplish but was unable to do because the RINO congress refused to pass the legislation or even come up with legislation. Most of what Trump has been able to do, and the list is extensive, was due to his executive orders or the shakey Senate getting behind him.
2. Re: "Roe vs Wade" was horribly wrong, which I have stated here on myriad occasions. The then SCOTUS legislated law rather than interpret the Constitution. Most judges refuse to overturn what their 'collegues' have done and set precedence. However, that court did leave open the door for further rulings since it said that it had not determined when life began. There are several individuals/groups who have hopes of presenting to the new SCOTUS a case on that very issue and that would be a good opportunity to at least change the current illegally created 'Roe vs Wade' decision. From what I have been able to determine, Trump fully supports those behind the petition.
3. Sounds like the typical rhetoric of the "Never Trumpers". In their estimation, there is absolutely NOTHING he could say or do that they would be commendable.
4. Trumps personal beliefs on abortion are not as conservative as mine or those of like mind. But he is most certainly not a defender of Planned Parenthood, nor does he want the government to fund that murderous group.
Just another example of when to simply ignore such people and walk away quietly leaving them to their own musings.
