DA Carson is a person that I rarely hear anything negative about, except a few liberals.

Over the years, I have heard sermons, where pastors quote him, to emphasize a point they are making.
In the Highway book review section, there is even a positive review of one of Carson’s books.

However, here is the rub.
He is cofounder of an organization that I am very wary about. ‘The Gospel Coalition’.
There are many issues I can think about. However I will only mention two.
1.) Tim Keller- Although years ago, my initial introduction of him was from a pastor I respect. After that, it was all down hill. Things like the heretical teaching of ‘The Way of the Monk’ was taught in his own Church. He also believed that Theistic Evolution and the Bible are compatible. He even wrote article about this, for the liberal think tank ‘Biologos’.

2.) The Social Justice Movement- To one degree or another, ‘The Gospel Coalition’ is involved. One such scandal had to do with The Gospel Coalition member Thabiti Anyabwile and Phil Johnson of Grace Community Church.
Thabiti Anyabwile ended up accusing Phil Johnson of not understanding the gospel over the issue. Of which several prominent people such as James White defended Phil Johnson.

With those things in mind, I do not remember hearing anyone criticizing, or a scandal involving DA Carson; despite his being the Co-founder of ‘The Gospel Coalition’ with Tim Keller.

I would appreciate any feedback you can offer.
