When you post there is a little UNDERLINED section that says

[color:red]
Key for Markup

This should solve the problems.
Look at the

[color:red]KEY FOR MARKUP

and go to the
[color:blue]

TEXT FORMATTING section

Does this help?

Chrysostomos,

If it is indeed an incompatibility issue there is still a work around that would fair nicely for you. Under the heading "Make post", click the little arrow which will expland the dropdown menu. Choose, "using HTML and markup".
