Hi everyone!
I've just been typing an email to a friend and asked him the following question which has been bugging me:
To what extent does one evangelise in the workplace? The reason why I ask this is because I agree that it is grievous to hide one's Light under a bushel... but also, one has to be responsible and provide an income for the family. The problem is that because "religion" is always a touchy subject - even more so TRUE religion - it could cause a person to lose their job! And then the verse: "Seek first the Kingdom of God, and all these things will be added unto you," pops into my head. But then, one can also evangelise to an extent in the way one conducts oneself etc in the workplace - thus being a wonderful witness to the world. So where do we find the balance? How is one to approach this matter? Do we go out boldly proclaiming the name of Jesus?
Dave
