Q 84 Shall all men die?

A. Death being threatened as the wages of sin,[364] it is appointed unto all men once to die;[365] for that all have sinned.[366]

[364] Romans 6:23. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

[365] Hebrews 9:27. And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.
