There are "degrees of sin" amongst men. Some sins are more heinous than others, e.g., murder, adultery, homosexuality, etc. which demand greater punishment. But, in the judgment of God, all sins are worthy of eternal damnation and punishment. In other words, there are not various "levels" of punishment in Hell.

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one [point], he is become guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou dost not commit adultery, but killest, thou art become a transgressor of the law."
