Just wondering why would anyone be interested in a debate with someone like Mark Carpenter. This is the same guy who writes "In the historical realm, we had to disendorse John Calvin. And we mean it when we say that we had to. When we find out that someone whom we endorsed (either recommended their ministries or quoted them favorably) actually was/is unregenerate, we must tell and warn our readers. It makes no difference how famous or well-liked or revered as a "father of the faith" these people were/are. We are no respecter of persons".
This fellow has added many other theological giants to his so-called "HETERODOXY HALL OF SHAME". I find it hard to take him seriously.
