Is it kosher?
May it never be! No it is TULIP beef! The tulips are imported specifically for cattle feed. Multi-colored tulips are used for different diets. But, this is top secret so tip toe through the tulips and don't tell anyone. Next thing you will know the Arminian beef people will desire to have a conference or something.
Watch out, you may end up with Totally Depraved Cow disease...
True godliness is a sincere feeling which loves God as Father as much as it fears and reverences Him as Lord, embraces His righteousness, and dreads offending Him worse than death~ Calvin
Well, maybe you could try the Arminian kind. It won't come into your heart unless you ask it to.

There will be cattle, and beasts of the field, and birds, in the new earth, but not fish or creeping things since they are not included in the covenant to renew the creation. ZS

I assume this only found in "grounded beef".
Yes, if I recall, we did discuss the soul. As you well know we do leave room for shades of understanding regarding the literal meaning of many Hebrew words. I would be hard pressed to base a doctrine of animals in Heaven, upon the literal interpretation of nephesh as soul. But I won't deny that it couldn't be a possiblity.
I tend to lean more toward the distinction between humans and animals; somewhat in the vein of Pilgrim's post.

Yes, the key is that man is the imago dei, imo. I think that much systematic theology (including even reformed theology) has imported a platonic idea of the soul onto the rather simple idea of "life" or "being." Man is, of course, the being who has the image of God. As far as "animals in heaven" I would simply refer back to the resurrection for the future of animals.
Well, I've read nearly every post on this thread and the first thing I've got to say is that I believe the puns on here are even scarier than I was lead to believe.
As for Animals going to heaven, here are some random comments:
1. Can an animal comprehend sin and God and the need for a savior?
2. Does the Bible tell us to preach to animals?
3. What's for breakfast on that ressurrection morn? What's for Lunch and Supper too?
4. Isn't everything here on earth a foreshadow of what is to come? If we're going to have inanimate things such as houses and riches why would we not have trees and animals, are they not just as much a part of creation and just as much used to praise God from whom all blessings flow? I recall something about the rocks crying out and declaring the glory of God.
5. Didn't a donkey tell his rider off or something in the Old Testament?
6. Didn't God have Israel slay all the animals when they were slaying certain heathen peoples?
7. You can't have a chariot without horses can you? And we see very clearly that a chariot of fire with horses of fire appeared before Elijah went up into heaven. Also, the Lord is depicted in Revelation as comeing back on a White Horse. Plus (And I know some people don't interpret these literally, but it's food for thought), there is that whole matter of a whore on a dragon and the Beast in Revelation.
8. What exactly are angels? They're not men, so would they fit into a catagory of animals or what?
9. The cattle on a thousand hills are the Lords. If Jesus won't loose any of us I don't see why He'd loose any of them.
10. I've heard several jokes about the five points and beef, but I should think that in the ressurection we either can't eat animals (b/c they've been sprinkled in the blood) or animals that were on earth can't be in heaven.
11. Who cares about Reformed Beef? If it's good then it's reformed, if it's bad then it's a heretical piece of meat which you ought to work on till it softens up.
12. Doesn't God provide for the Birds of the air and the Lillies of the field? And are you not more valuable than sparrows? So seek first the Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.
I know, I know, I'm bordering on the offensive here, but I think a few of these questions need thinking about. First and foremost though, we need to be less concerned with useless doctrines and more concerned with Christian living and Christian preaching. Does it matter more that your dog will be there or that you'll be there come that blessed ressurrection morn?

Who's going to shut the jackasses(KJV) up in heaven?
1. Can an animal comprehend sin and God and the need for a savior?
[color:"0000FF"]NO, BUT we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
2. Does the Bible tell us to preach to animals?
[color:"0000FF"]NO
3. What's for breakfast on that ressurrection morn? What's for Lunch and Supper too?
[color:"0000FF"]I haven’t received the menu yet, but I am requesting chocolate moose for desert.

[color:"0000FF"]You are assuming that the SAME animals that are upon earth NOW and that have died/will die will be the same ones in the new heavens and earth. Animals here on earth at present have diseases, illnesses, and defects. Nowhere in Scripture does it say animals will be given a new soul, body, etc.
5. Didn't a donkey tell his rider off or something in the Old Testament?
[color:"0000FF"]No, it was an ass.
6. Didn't God have Israel slay all the animals when they were slaying certain heathen peoples?
[color:"0000FF"]Yes.

[color:"0000FF"]See #4 above. If you take this literally then you will have an unusual Jesus coming back for His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns ….and out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword…..(Rev 19)...and there will be NO dragon or beast in the new heavens and new earth...
8. What exactly are angels? They're not men, so would they fit into a catagory of animals or what?
[color:"0000FF"]Though angels are created beings they are not animals. How many six winged animals are you acquainted with that have the same features as Isa 6? Additionally, angels were present at creation (Job 38)...animals were not created till day 6...(Gen 1)...plus Christians will judge angels (1 Cor 6), but no where does it say we will judge animals....
9. The cattle on a thousand hills are the Lords. If Jesus won't loose any of us I don't see why He'd loose any of them.
[color:"0000FF"]The promises were to Abraham and his seed. I don’t think Sarah had a cow!
10. I've heard several jokes about the five points and beef, but I should think that in the resurrection we either can't eat animals (b/c they've been sprinkled in the blood) or animals that were on earth can't be in heaven.
[color:"0000FF"]The original question was “do animals go to heaven or hell.” IMHO there will be animals in the new heavens and earth (this is where you spend eternity), but not necessarily the SAME animals that have lived here and died on the earth.
11. Who cares about Reformed Beef? If it's good then it's reformed, if it's bad then it's a heretical piece of meat which you ought to work on till it softens up.
[color:"0000FF"]Rom 14:14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
12. Doesn't God provide for the Birds of the air and the Lillies of the field? And are you not more valuable than sparrows? So seek first the Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.
[color:"0000FF"]Yes, we are more valuable as we are made in God’s image. Animals are not made in God’s image – as amongst them all was not found a help-mate for Adam, et. al.
Does it matter more that your dog will be there or that you'll be there come that blessed resurrection morn?
[color:"0000FF"]The issue is of up-most importance—all theology is. When you have the pleasure of speaking to someone about reincarnation…..you may discover this….
