Since I'm really a newbie to this forum and just now starting to learn my way around, I hope this is the proper place to ask a question like this.

I promise that once I learn my way around, I'll try to be a more active participant.

I haven't been here since I signed on some time ago and I noticed when I arrived today, the top right corner bid me welcome. But it didn't show me in the active users list.

So I logged out and then I WAS shown in the users online list. I logged back in and that seems to have corrected the problem.

PS I'm trying to attach a screenshot to this post but the preview doesn't show it in spite of the composition window saying that there IS one file attached to this post! Wassup?

Well, I learned that the preview screen doesn't show attached files. OK, I can live with that but it is awkward.

Funny thing is that after I logged OUT I was shown as being present. But NOW, after logging back in the Who's Online box AGAIN doesn't seem to recognize that I'm here.

Boss Man, can you tell me what's goin' on, please?

Well, what you have discovered is a "glitch" in the "Who's Online" island. It's a known issue which is allegedly fixed in the upcoming updated version.

As to the attachment not showing in the Preview... that is the way things are for now. However, I am going to check with the developer to see if this is going to be changed in the update.

So, I'll have to get back to you as soon as I receive an answer to the lack of display of attached graphic images. I do understand why .pdf, .doc, .txt, files and those like them aren't displayed, but graphic images I think should be.

Oh, you can certainly do that too. Currently, there is a 6 hour "open time" where you can Edit a post/reply. After that, well... you're stuck with what you wrote.

OR, if you are friends with someone on Staff, they just might do the needed edit for you.
