Hi My purpose in starting this thread is not to get into another debate about Paedo-Baptism vs. Credo-Baptism. What I am hoping to do is start some discussion into how we should properly understand John Owen on this subject. I recently was pointed to an interesting discussion called "McMahon's Misrepresentation of John Owen". http://contrast2.wordpress.com/2010/09/20/mcmahons-misrepresentation-of-john-owen/#commentsWhile I myself am a Credo-Baptist, I want get other perspective on whether or not the author is correct concerning McMahon misrepresenting John Owen on this matter. This is not about whether or not one is a Credo or a Paedo Baptist; it is about an accurate understanding of John Owen on the issue that the author addresses. I am currently reading Owen’s commentary on Hebrew’s, in the hopes to understand this matter better. Tom
