I would be interested in getting some opinions on the following sermon.

Just so you know this sermon in mainly on Romans chapter 13; which many Christians seem to believe gives the government the right to do what they are doing. As you can see by the title of the sermon, the pastor disagrees with that understanding of the passages. Among the things he mentions a parts of the Reformation itself, including John Knox. As well as the Magdelburg Confession: 13th of April 1550 AD.
John Knox definitely did not understand Romans 13 in the way many are interpreted it today.

By the way, some of these pastors have criticized John MacArthur for his stand against the tyrants.

Another thing the sermon touches on concerning Romans chapter 13, is how at the time Paul wrote Romans chapter 13 Nero was Emperor, but he was a young teenager and at the time he ruled the kingdom through his parents and that was a relatively peaceful time; until years later when Nero was older.
The point being, many pastors use Nero to show that the passage was talking about obeying even when I tyrant like Nero is in power.

To be honest, I had never studied this aspect of the time that Paul wrote Romans 13 and would like to study that aspect a little more.
