I am having a bit of a debate with a friend of mine.
Both him and I have not been vaccinated and in Canada
in order to fly across Canada you need a vaccine passport to fly or travel.
A friend of ours has a dilemma, his parents live on the far side of Canada from him.
His dad is in very poor health and he wants to see him; but can not because of his vaccine
status.
My friend said if he was in that situation he would get a fake vaccine passport.
I told him I could never in good conscience use a fake vaccine passport.
He believes however I am being silly and under that situation our friend would
be perfectly justified for doing so.
I sympathize with our friend but I could never do that; nor recommend our friend do so.
Am I being silly?

You are correct... obtaining a fake vaccine passport is a sin. And, if your friend would be caught with a fake card he could be arrested and face possible criminal charges.

Missionaries are having to deal with this stuff too. To do what God has called them to they must comply with the civil authorities' requirements and trust God for their good health, including their bodies' reaction to "vaccinations," etc.

Either or both. My daughter and her husband have to be vaccinated and wear masks on their flight back to Papua New Guinea from here in the States, for example.
