I'll let others speak regarding the assertions; but I did want to mention what I have noticed with Tabletalk this year. Until 2004, Wilkins, Schissel, Wilson were frequent contributors to the magazine / devotional. RCJR had been the editor for years. This year I have not seen any articles from the three, and RCJR is no longer the editor, although he still writes a monthly article. I don't know if the changes were for some specific reason, but they did take place.
I have always been impress with Tabletalk's daily teaching devotional. It is top notch.
