But it does bring up another salient point about this type of thinking in regard to how people view and/or use the Bible. How often have you been to a Bible Study and someone would read a passage of Scripture and then the "Enabler" would ask each person to "share what that passages means to you"?? There is little or no time nor effort spent in finding out what the text actually is saying propositionally. Rather, what is focused upon is each individual's existential impression; what they feel after hearing/reading the passage. [Linked Image]
