Kline appears to be somewhat of a lightning rod with his theology. His friend's admire him but his foes use him as a whipping boy. Some of the foes are within the Theonomy / FV camp, but are his detractors broader than than those issues.

How do you see Kline?

I'm not sure how I see Kline. I have not read any of his books, but my impression of him is that he was very solid in some things but took some other things too far. He was well-known for advocating the so-called "framework" interpretation of the Genesis creation account, and it seems sometimes he was a bit dismissive of the continuing use of God's law for the Christian. But like I said, I haven't read any of his books, so I can't put forward a thorough view of him.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified.
