I think many new coverter need time to get their mind renewed, and some are quick and some take time to learn how to walk in the spirit and not in the flesh or old life.
But many has made the decission to accept Christ as their Lord and are really born again.

But, if I clearly taught elsewhere that repentance/belief alone was sufficient no one would think coming forward is necessary for salvation,or water baptism is necessary for salvation.
