Thank you so much, Patrice. I had gone to Wikipedia for the Catechism itself--with scanty results--but neglected to just look for the author, as you did.
Well, it sounds as though he were committed to producing a fully orthodox work! I was concerned because the time frame was that of the early years of the great move away from confessional orthodoxy in New England, with which I am much more familiar.
