Matthew 7:6
"Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces. NKJV

What exactly does this verse mean? I've done a little looking on Google. I'm not exactly satisfied with the results I've found. The reason I'm asking is because I know someone who was brought up in a Christian family, an old friend, who doesn't exactly believe in God the way one should. In essence she told me that the Bible was just nonsense. And that she, "doesn't just rely on faith alone." I think that she has no idea what she's talking about, and that the real reason is that she feels this way is because she hasn't delved into it and probably hasn't practiced true faith. Does that constitute her being a pig and or dog? And does this mean that I am not allowed to reach out to her?
