I've had the privilege of interacting with two serving ministers in the ARPC. One came to visit Zambia and preached in several of our Reformed Baptist Churches. What a great feast it was to sit under his preaching. I met the other one in neighbouring Malawi and we had a very good discussion on the state of Presbyterian denominations on the African continent. I came away feeling that we need more of such churches in Africa. My question is who is going to take up the challenge of replanting Presbyterian churches true to the WCF on the African continent? Most denominations like PCA are not willing to do so. Let us wait and see if the ARPC will take up the challenge. As things stand now, the Reformed Baptist denomination is the only version of a Reformed church on the African continent. I wonder if Presbyterians are happy with this state of affairs.
