I hold that the first resurrection is the leaving of the soul of the saints at death to be with Christ. And the second resurrection is that of the body. It would seem that my view is the same as the notes in the New Geneva Study Bible. One cannot hold to "a single resurrection" for the text is undeniably clear in stating that there is a first and then a second resurrection.
