I worked my way through college and 3 grad schools and I took whatever I could find for work.  Yes, I did not consider anything which would go against biblical teaching, including working for a couple churches. I was fortunate to work in a Christian rest home, and a private Christian school. But I had several other summer jobs that paid average wages which I was grateful to have. Jobs are much more plentiful now than back then so you should do well, D.v.
