This has been discussed quite a bit over the years here on the Highway.
You might want to do a search on the issue.

Although this issue is important. There is something I find more important.
1.) Formal Equivalent translations. Meaning it was translated more the original languages
as close to the original language meaning as possible.
2.) Dynamic Equivalence. More of an interpretation than a translation.

Number 1. Is to be preferred because it does not rely on the translators interpretation of the text.

There is also something I have found probably to be even more important and that is.
Over the years, those who take the Bible seriously and study it to live a life to glorify the Lord, is more important than the version they use.

I thought I would add something else. I have found that many people who are KJVonlyists are people that treat other believers as though they are not true believers. Or they don’t read a real Bible.
