I just read this thread. I kind of had this discussion with my husband lately. He had some kind of "prompting" situation once. And, like Tom, I've heard of these kinds of things too from others. And stories of exact amounts of money to people they needed. I myself have never experienced any prompting or anything like the type. I do agree with Pilgrim about how we really don't know for sure where these come from do we?? So would we conclude that they are possibly from God then and leave it at that? Or are these situations possibly deceptions from Satan (even situations that work out for our good)?? This really has me thinking differently of how Satan works if He can work in this way.
Just beware the angel of light that is Satan and his ability to perform lying wonders. Also remember that it is possible for strong delusions to cause the heart to believe a lie. REST IN THE MORE SURE WORD!!!
